Janet Campbell is a Gemini nominated Costume Designer who has been working in the film and television industry since 1985. Based in Montreal, Quebec she specializes in contemporary comedy and drama. She recently wrapped up filming Bellevue for CBC starring Anna Paquin and season 4 of the critically acclaimed APTN series Mohawk Girls.

Janet's forte is following the thread of the narrative while having the actors look both appealing and natural in their costumes. An avid television and film watcher she has an appreciation of the medium as well as an instinctual eye for colour and characterization. She believes that it is important for the actors to feel comfortable in their costumes and is receptive to their input while keeping it in harmony with the vision of the director and producers.

Her work ethic is to be as production friendly as possilbe in terms of budget, scheduling and cooperating with other deparments. Janet is fortunate to have a wonderful team who are also creative and dedicated workers.
